First time having an eye appt here. The doctor seemed knowledgeable and pleasant. He wrote two prescriptions, one for computer glasses and the other for full time wear. I told him I would only be getting one pair now (full time wear) since that is what my insurance covers.

The clinic does not carry polycarbonate lenses, which is what my insurance covered, so I had them print my prescription and I took the paper that was printed for me next door.

I get my new glasses and I experience blurred vision at a distance. I wait to see if this goes away but it doesn’t so I bring them in for troubleshooting to progressive.

Crystal comes across as dismissive of what I’ve experienced and does not immediately take me at my word. After some questioning she takes my glasses to run tests on them. Turns out they were filled as the computer glasses, which have much less distance vision. I told her I took what was printed for me immediately to the clinic next door, and she casually says ‘we might have printed the wrong prescription’ ?‍♀️ like it’s not her problem

Turns out that this IS what happened. (It’s on the medical record at the other clinic) Fortunately, the clinic where I ordered my glasses is doing a free remake of them. It’s one thing to have made a mistake like this, but it’s another to dismiss a patient’s experience and not take accountability for making an error. I did feel more comfortable talking to Kendell, who was a lot more caring during the process, even tho I had to get my glasses made at a different clinic. Visiting progressive eye center is always a pleasant experience.  Friendly,  knowledgeable employees,  Dr.  Jarrard is awesome! He really takes the time to accurately develop your prescription,  and he remembers his patients!
